FMC Certification
Federal Maritime Commission. The Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) is the independent federal agency responsible for regulating the U.S. international ocean transportation system for the benefit of U.S. exporters, importers, and the U.S. consumer.
N.V.O.C.C
A NVOCC CERTIFICATION may be defined as an entity that provides ocean freight services as a “carrier” albeit it may be with or without own or operated vessels.
The NVOCC accomplishes this by buying slots or space from a VOCC (Vessel Operating Common Carrier) and reselling the same to their customers who can be exporters or forwarders.

The National Minority Supplier Development Council Inc. ® (NMSDC®) is one of the country’s leading corporate membership organizations.
TUCP
The City of Houston is a member of the Texas Unified Certification Program (TUCP). The TUCP certifies Disadvantaged Business Enterprises for participation in Department of Transportation federal contracting projects across the State of Texas in compliance with Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR 26 and 23).
SBAIC

The Central Contractor Registration (CCR) was the primary supplier database for the U.S. Federal government until July 30, 2012. The CCR collected data from suppliers, validated and stored this data, and disseminated it to various government acquisition agencies.
